There have been times in my life when a piece of news has stopped me in my tracks.
For me, the most traumatic experience was the news of my son, Adam, being killed in a car crash. That certainly made me realise how fragile life is. Perhaps it has also made me more aware of the impact a sudden loss has on others, family, loved ones and friends – even someone you’ve just helped along the way.
Recently I was given some help and advice in redesigning this website and my personal blog. I never met the guy – we just conversed by email and texts. However, even within these ‘conversations’, I made a connection with him. Clearly a clever guy; devoted to his family; willing to help others, like me, who didn’t have the same skills. Just a nice guy.
Then, on 23rd November, I received one of those pieces of news…. without warning, in his early thirties, he had suffered a massive bleed on the brain and died!
My heart goes out to his wife and two young children. This post is just a small tribute to him and a thank you for the help he gave me.
